Hi Bruce
My mother was a Wetherall from Lurgan - her father John Wetherall would have been the next generation from those you mention. He was a dentist & with the british Army in India, then practised in Glasgow & married Elizabeth Farquarson in 1913. My mother Alice was born in Scotland in 1914, then lived in Liverpool before the family returned to Lurgan/Lisburn. She once told me that she had an uncle in New Zealand, but had lost track of that part of the family. I wonder if there's any connection?
My mother married William James Lunn from Lurgan & they emigrated to South Africa in 1950. My mother passed away last month in Cape Town.
Regards, Penny Gurney
