Battle of Lady Gorse, Info please

My McIlwain ancestry mentions the "Battle of Lady Gorse" in which an ancestor was killed. The library reference desk in several libraries cannot located this "Battle" I believe this was an Irish battle, but am not sure. I would like to identify it for my grandsons book. Any help or direction to locate will be appreciated. tks.
