My McIlwain ancestry mentions the "Battle of Lady Gorse" in which an ancestor was killed. The library reference desk in several libraries cannot located this "Battle" I believe this was an Irish battle, but am not sure. I would like to identify it for my grandsons book. Any help or direction to locate will be appreciated. tks.
