Mary Elizabeth:

It is such great fun when there is a possible connection with living members of a family group.

My ggrandfather was John Mcfarlane b 1855c Antrim, Ire. He would be the son of Archibald Mcfarlane & Margaret McKiernan.

John married Mary Mcginley b 1855, Co Derry, Ire. I found a Church Baptism Record for a Mary McGinley b/baptised is 1855, Long Tower, Cty Derry. Her parents were Daniel McGinley & Mary Gallagher. We have lots of Gallaghers in our line. Also one of my grandmothers brothers was named Daniel. This looks like a good connection. However, I like another hit such as finding the marriage for John Mcfarlane & Mary Mcginley to verify parents names. I have a picture of Mary McGinley with children and a senior female. This could be Margaret McKiernan or Mary Mcginleys mother. No info on the picture. My mom didn't leave info on the pictures.

I have my grandparents marriage document. Mary Mcfarlane b1890 Glasgow married James Boyle b1884, Airdrie. The document has their parents names.

This family emigrated to US in 1927 and settled in Redondo Beach, CA Most of my grandmothers siblings did the same.

I will keep searching for a connection.
