Think we may have corresponded in the past.
Just wanted to say if you do find you are related to Archibald McFarland and Mary McKearnan, as Dave has listed in his reply to you, please let me know.
Based on the dates Dave has set forth, there would be a good possiblity of a connection here. Mary McKernan (and other possibly spelling of the name) could very well be my great grandfather's sister, Mary. My great grandfather was Henry McKernan/McKiernan. He was on the family townland in 1831. His wife was Sarah McCaigue. All children born in Culfeightrin RC Parish. Their son Charles, my grandfather, was the next to live out his life on the family townland in Culfeightrin RC Parish. Charles was married to Mary McAllister (Her mother was Mary Ann Stewart, her father , Charles McAllister, who were married at Culfeightrin RC Parish)). All children were baptized at Culfeightrin RC Parish. One of their daughters was married at Ramoan RC Church.
If you ever find anything to connect, please let me know.
