There was still a couple of McKinney households in Knockavallen in the 1901 census. Relatives perhaps?

I’d search the Ballymoney 3rd Presbyterian church’s birth & marriage records to see if you can find other members of the family. Copies of their records are held at PRONI Belfast. According to their site, the 3rd Presbyterian church was known as St James and the 2nd Presbyterian church, until 1840 when it was renamed the 3rd. Birth & marriage records start in 1835. Ref MIC1P/266.

It was traditional to marry in the wife’s church, so unless bride & groom happened to attend the same church anyway, you may only find her family there. In which case you may need to search some of the other churches in the area to find the groom.
