Nancy Irby would appear to be the daughter of one Nathan Irby. In the 1850 Virginia Census Pittslyvania County his family is close by to Allen SCruggs and his family. Nathan has a daughter Nancy age 4 which would make her born 1846 which matchs what is shown as her birth year in 1900 census.I would look at a connection between the Scruggs and this Nathan Irby.
