hi!I am Irtesam haider , i belong to awan family .
we are living in peshgawar for more then 100 years.
I am Irtesam haider s/o Laeeq ahmed s/o Haji Abdul rehman s/o Haji Aashoor Mohammad s/o Khan Mohammad s/o Wali Mohammad s/o haji Abdul Wahid. I dun know more , if some one have complete chain then please send me on irtesamh@hotmail.com. Awan are basically family of Hazrat Ali (A.W.S). I heard from my grandfather that Hazrat Ali (A.W.S) had a wife , her name was Umul-Baneen( mother of sons) . she had 4 sons thats why she was given this laqab. All four sons of Hazrat Ali were martyred in Kerbala(Iraq) on 10th Moharram 61 A.H . They were in the troop of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.W.S) grandson of Hazrat Mohammad (peace Be Upon Him). noshera is near peshawar, when Mehmood Ghazni invaded Indo pak sub continent from Afghanistan way, Awan were also with him. I hope this knowledge will help u people.
