Reginald Harold John TIBBITTS died mysteriously 6th July 1921 whilst serving with the British Government Works Directorate in Baghdad. He was born in Birmingham UK 4 July 1882 and was buried in the North Gate Cemetery in Baghdad. His parents were Alfred TIBBITTS and Emma CORFIELD.

He married Margaret Mary Frances TULLY (aka meta Tully) in Birmingham 4 May 1914. He was known to have relatives in USA. One American nephew is believed to have been killed in USWW2 action in Europe during the 1940's.

Would like to hear from any US descendants. Or, from anyone operating in/out of Baghdad who can verify the existance today of a British Section to North Gate Cemetery,Baghdad, Iraq.
