Help, adopted trying to find my family or extended family

Hello,
In 1977, when I was approx 2 years old, I was adopted from the Shah's orphanage in Tehran, Iran to Sweden. I don't have any information to go on except a few unconfirmed ones given to my adoptive parents from the people at the orphanage. For example they were told that I had suffered at a very early age from lung problems, and were moved to their orphanage since they were better equipped in helping me. However my adoptive parents don't remember the name of that orphanage or village.

Where do I start looking? I have already done one of those DNA Genealogy test's and I seem to have a lot of Jewish ancestors.

I truly want to find my family, and any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Peter
