Sorry for responding so late...as you can see, I don't have much time to spend on genealogy. The reason I asked about "honarvar" is that one member of our family has that name. I was showing his father how to do some research some years ago and entered my information to receive responses. I don't have a clue as to how to go about researching a Persian name, but thought I'd give it a try. I learned later that Honarvar is not a uncommon name, so I guess it would be doubly difficult to find anything. I just hoped I could come up with some information for our family member, since he remembers nothing of the country of his birth. You are the only person who responded.
