Frank Montakhab was a close friend of mine when we played chess together in the Asheville North Carolina USA area in the 1970s. If you still monitor this site and information from the 70s would be of interest to you, post a reply and I will see what I can find in my papers from that era. I do not know where he is now, I saw your message while trying to locate him. I do have the records of some of his tournament chess games and some personal cards and letters he sent me. I would also relate what he told me of his past.
