Nadali Family & Tavakolikermani Family

Dear readers,

For awhile I have been researching my mom's parental family, the Tavakolikermani Family. From my sources, the Tavakolikermani family had the surname of Nadali, before leaving Kerman for Tehran. A Haj Mubarrak Nadali (my great-great grandfather) holds this surname. My great-grandfather, Haj Gholam Reza Tavakolikermani, changed the family name to Tavakolikermani when he left Kerman. Furthermore, a family member of mine has heard that the Tavakolikermani/Nadali Family are descendants of the Khans of Kerman (or the surrounding villages/districts). I have been doing some research and I have discovered that their was a fort/castle named Nadali and that it was taken away from the owner, Ibrahim Khan Baluch, by Mohammad Ismail Khan Nuri Vakil ol-Mamalek, the Qajar Governor of Kerman, in 1867. I believe there is a connection between the name of the fort, Ibrahim Khan Baluch, and my family but I have no further information. If anyone has any information regarding the Nadali or Tavakolikermani Family, please respond to this message or to my e-mail, alimerzairan@gmail.com or alimerzairan@yahoo.com. Thank You.

P.S. My great-grandfather was a barber in Kerman and, latter, Tehran.
