I am a qutb shahi awan my parents are from pakistan but i have grown up in the UK. We are Malik's dunno where that fits in but i have heard that we are from Turkey on one side and the other is we are from arabia....some mayb wondering how we are related to hazarat ali.well ive heard that we are from the tribe of the Second wife of hazarat ali Janabe Ummul Baneen Their offspring was hazarat Abbas who was known as Qamr-e-bani-hashim (the back bone of the household of Bani Hashim) a great warrior the tribe odf ummul baneen were known for there fearlessness and known as great warriors!And to ansa the person who sed that she nows some one from pakistan with awan surname and they are veri fair...i myself have been mistaken for Pathan, Afghan, Turkish..iranian and Arab by many different people no1 guesses im pakistani!!!.Id appreciate any comments on this post
