I'm trying to find my natural grandfather.

If there is anyone who might know how to help me or just lead me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. My father does not know who is birth father is. All that he knows is that he was Iranian. His mother never told him his real father's name, and now she has passed away. We have no idea where to even start in trying to find this information out. If anyone can help please let me know.
