I show Thomas Inscon, age 21, arriving in Virginia, from England, in 1635. This is from Teppler: Passengers to America. I also show Richard Incon, leaving Newgate, England, destined for Maryland, on the ship, Patapscoe Merchant, captained by Fras Lux. The ship had 97 persons, and Richard was received on May 17, 1736. This is from a book: Emigrants in Bondage, PRO reference No. T53/38 p. 337.8 NOTE: These records were generally of convicted felons from England, whose passage was paid by the government, as a fee collected by the shipping company.
