Inskip Family Genealogy Forum
Hi Vernon and Anita Jo:
It apppears that I am descended from the same line of Inskeeps. My g-g grandmother, Alvaretta Mary Inskeep, appears to have been a first cousin to Tabitha Inskeep, if my records are accurate. Alvaretta was daughter to Phineas Inskeep, Jr., (married Hannah Mulvane), the son of Phineas Inskeep Senior (married to Olive Smith). I would love to stay in touch and to hear more about the lineage. Alvaretta moved from Iowa first to Oregon (about the same time as did her brother Herbert) where she married my g-g grandfather, Nicholas Jerome Young. Herbert remained in Oregon, but Allie and Nicholas finally ended up in California, as it appears did a number of Inskeeps. They were missionaries and served in a number of missions, from Puerto Rico at the end of the Spanish American war to the Mojave Indians in Redlands, Calif.
I have some more info on the Inkseep line, and would love to exchange information with both of you.
