Anita Jo; Just had a chat with my wife's elderly Uncle Richard Bopp and he has informed me that there are several Inskip burrials in this area in a cem called Standford and also some in another cem called Houghtonburg. We have had a very extensive recording for all the Jackson Co. cem's done in the past three or four years. I will go to the Lib. Black River Falls and get all of these for us. I will then search the death and birth records to see what they have to say. Will get back to you as soon as I get this done. I am right now reading old
1880's 1890's newspapers for a obit for my gr. grandmoother Nancy Wilde Scafe. She is my one pet project over all these years of searching. Can't find her lineage for sure. I think it was one of those that is a double
"sister marriage for the father. When the first wife died he then married her sister and then to top thing of, he up and married his oldest son's mother-in-law !!!! after his second wife up and died. I think that there are children of all three marriage, or at least the third wife's children went by the Wilde name on the census. In all I have at least 19 children tied into this somehow and can't seem to come up with a real answer.
Enough of my problems !. Will be in touch after the first of next week.
Vernon
