I believe Adenken means souvenier or memento in German. I've seen neck brooches on old photos with a crescent moon laying down with a star above it. The one that comes to mind is a photo from Sweden. Don't know if that helps. Also G.L.A.S. could be G____ Ladies Auxilary Society?
