Even though it works fantastic, it is not PC to use shaving cream. The small amount of Stearic Acid in it will damage marble based gravestones, even if you you wash it off with a spray bottle immediately afterwards. The damage will only be able to be seen with an electron microscope and would be no more than harm caused by the acid from a rainstorm, but still it is a no-no.
The Barbisol Ultimate shave cream is a lot thicker than most brands so fills the crevices a lot better and still only costs about $2. But since it contains Stearic Acid you can't use it.
