WRC is Women's Relief Corps, a ladies' auxiliary of the Civil War veterans' group, GAR, Grand Army of the Republic. FLC means Fraternity Charity Loyalty 1883 is the group's founding year. My grandmother and great aunt were active members in the 1920's to 50's. They also belonged to DUV, Daughters of Union Veterans.

Could your DVU pin be DUV?

FECMU Royal Neighbors of America was a fraternal organization and an insurance company that was created in the 1890's to provide affordable life insurance, at first to women. FECMU means Faith Endurance Courage Modesty and Unselfishness. My grandparents also were the treasurers for the RNA in the 1920's to 1950's.
