cemetery stone inscription: "C.H.O.P.

I have found an ancient burial stone on an ancestral line in Wayne Co, Ohio- it says: " GRIFFITH, C.H.O.P., son of P.B. Griffith, died April 11, 1846, age 20 months." This would appear to be a set of 4 first initials, but I can't believe he had 4 first names. Does anyone have any ideas about another meaning ? - Thanks, Allan Griffith, Bloomington, IL, USA -
