Hmmm. Interesting.

I am aware of the blue-vein clubs and "paperbag" tests for African-Americans in elite society but never heard of the Lily White Circle Society.

The only White Circle Society I know of was the one in Chicago which worked against integration of white neighborhoods by Blacks, prior to the Civil Rights Acts.

There is a connection between the Lily and spiritualism (specifically reincarnation and resurrection); see the poem titled Purity 2/3 of the way down on this page at this site:

And, an archaic term for a chimney sweep was a Lilly White. Could this be a fraternal society graveyard?
