Ring Inscription 1923

I have a ring from my fathers estate. The inscription says: To HR from Court Mayflower No. 3 CLF 1923
14 K gold
The outside of the ring is a circle with a star in the middle, it says CLF FHL. Does anyone have any idea where this ring may have came from? What is CLF FHL? HR was not my fathers initials. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
