Kelly, We have information on John Bynum's ancestors back to Mecklenburg Co. in the 1770's. The name Enscore and the spelling change apparently came about after the John Bynum family moved from Wilkes Co., NC to Winston-Salem, NC. (He was John B. INSCORE in the 1900 Census of Wilkes Co.)
