Hi, again.

You ask about my Aunt Edna. Can't really tell you much except childhood memories. We were never a close family. The last time I saw her was at her Mother's, my Grandmother's, funeral in 1981. She died some years ago, can't remember when, but I'll ask my Dad (Ralph) - seeing him this afternoon.

Edna was 11 years older than my Father, so they were never very close.

Edna marred a man called Thomas Cripps, an immediate relative of the well known politician, Stafford Cripps.

They had one child, Roger, my only 1st cousin. He is 6 years older than I, we are not close, although we became friends some years ago. At the moment we have no contact because of certain family-dynamics,.

What else can I say about Edna? She seemed patronizing and superficial. A superb pianist, Winifred Atwell style, Roger was also a pianist - classical, as am I.

However, she was invaluable in creating a basic family tree, for which I thank her, so much.

Geoff
