I am trying to research Francis Innis and his wife Margery Innis (maiden name Milliken, source unknown) in PA Cumberland Co. in the 1750's.

Does anyone know about their origin? Can anyone give info on the following people in the Manor of Maske(Marsh Creek Settlement)?:

James Innis settler/squatter/warrant holder in Manor of Maske in May 1740

James Innis, age 62, DOD 12/121766, buried at Black's Cemetery

Jean Innis (on her tombstone her name is sometimes erroneously identified as John) age 39, DOD 12/16/1760, buried at Black's Cemetery

Robert Innis, age 40, DOD 2/1/1762, buried at Black's Cemetery. In some histories his date of death is listed erroneously as 1763. Rupp's history identifes a Robert Innis as one of the first settlers of the Tuscarora Valley in early 1740's.
