What sources do you have for John Innes b 1729 m Christian Dean, as s/o William Innes 1702 s/o Gilbert?
I ask because the descendants of this rather large Nova Scotia Innes family are fairly adamant/certain that John Innes 1729 is s/o Andrew of Speyslaw Innes and Agnes Hutcheon - of Leuchars Moray and descended from Robert Innes 5th of Mathiemill.
