Thank you for you response. It looks like you and I are cousins. I too am descended from Henry Clay and Mary/Margaret Mitchell....... In the books you spoke of, "History of Scotland/Genealogy", does it in fact read that Hugh Innes, father of Elizabeth Innes, and Elizabeth as being the one who married William Mitchell, was this Hugh Innes the son of James Innes and Margaret Kerr? You said some information, spoke of the book where it came from, and then spoke of some more information, so I am just making sure that which part of the infomation came from the book. Was it the first part of the information only, or was it all of the information? Thanks Stephen, Roy
