I believe you meant to refer to the Hugh Innes born in 1778 (not 1878). At any rate, my information does indicate that a Caroline Innes was a younger sister of my second great-grandfather, Harry Barold Innes, who was born in 1802. I don't have her birthdate but she was apparently married to General William Hardin on November 11, 1824. You probably know that she had other siblings: Catherine, Margaret, Robert, Hugh, and William Trigg. I believe our descendency from Hugh makes us 4th cousins, once removed.
