Bill,
I'm in Burke Cty in the southern part of Ga. Cedartown
is in Polk Cty in the northern part of Ga. I have had
good luck contacting the local historical society while
searching for my ancestors in Montana. Below is the
address for the Polk County Historical Society. If you
write them they ask you give them all details you know
and enclose a check for $20.00 and they will do a two
hour search for you.
