Mandy Inks,
Hi,I've noticed, my great grandparents names are in your information list. My great grandparents are: Elisha Franklin Inks & Ida Christene Rogers. My grandparents were C. H. Bennett & Mandy Inks Bennett. It seems we are related. My Father Jerry Lester Bennett(twin) died 06/15/2001. I was named after both my great granfather & my father (Franklin Lester Bennett). I have (1)sister Jennifer Lynn, & (1)half sister Jerri(on my mother's side).
I need some help, my wife (melissa) & I are trying to adopt an unborn infant because of certain circumstances.
The infant is Cherokee & the head of Cherokee Nation Child Welfare: Leon Clark, has requested I get proof of my heritage..."whatever it takes", before the baby is born so that we can care for it & possibly adopt.
I know that Mandy Inks was full blood indian, but I don't know if she was from the Cherokee tribe or some other tribe. I was hoping of finding some way of proof, for the baby's sake....please help us.
