My father's family is a direct decendant of Major Johannes Peter Ingwersen who was born Sept. 30,1772 and died Sept.27th, 1852. He was a Major in the Danish army and fought against Napoleon. He was a very prominent cattle(bullock) dealer in Denmark and had dealings with the King of Denmark at that time. He was married twice, his first wife died and he then remarried, and had 22 children! I don't know all of his children's names. But I do know that one of his grandchildren was named after him. Perhaps this is who you are looking for?
I also know that the family still lived on the original estate as of 1985?, because my fathers' cousin went to Denmark and visited them.
Most of my info came from my fathers cousin, and a book that my father had that was written in Danish and was translated to English in the late 1980's. The book has been lost, but I still have a copy of the english translation.
I too am looking for any relatives and information, but have just begun to gather and talk to surviving relatives.
Hope that this can provide some leads for you. If you wish to contact me please feel free.
