This is my first Post, any help would be much appreciated. Additionally I am happy to help anyone in any way I can. I have searched the forum and have found nothing that appears to relate to this question.

I am Currently tracing my family history, and am hitting a brick wall at some key information concerning William Clarke Ingram. I know he was Baptized in 1820 at Drumcliffe Parish Church of Ireland in County of Sligo. His Parents were Alexander and Mary Ingram.

He Emigrated to the US sometime after the baptismal lived in Erie PA for a while. He then lived in Buffalo NY (around 1849) where he Married Jane Simpson and had their first Son William, before settling on the Family Farm in Wainfleet, Monck Township, Ontario, Canada by 1851. He Died in 1885, after having 10 Children; William 1849-?, Matilda Jane 1851-1908, Festus 1852-1910, Joseph 1856-1932, Mary 1857-1915, Wealthy 1859-1930, Frederick 1860-1924, Ambrose 1863-1946, Dora Dolly 1866-1919, Malla Mallie (Mally) 1869-?. Ambrose is my Great Grandfather.

Family still lives and farms the same land today.

I am having trouble finding anything about William Prior to 1851. I do not know when he came to North America, whether there were any brothers or sisters, and any information about his Parents Alexander and Mary.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.
