PIEDMONT – Georgia Mazell Jones Ingram, 94, of 26 Kentwood Lane, widow of Fred Mattison Ingram, died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at her home.
Born in Oglethorpe County, GA, she was a daughter of the late James Dock, Sr., and Alma Ada Huff Jones. She retired from J. P. Stevens, White Horse Plant, and was a member of Agape Baptist Church in Piedmont.
Surviving are son, Charles H. Ingram (Sadie), of Piedmont; daughters, Martha Belcher (Clyde), and Barbara McConnell, both of Piedmont; brother, Phillip Jones, of Danielsville, GA; sister, Onzelle Escoe, of Hull, GA; grandsons, Michael Ingram (Heather), Steven Ingram, Wes Belcher, James Belcher and Chris Meadows; and great-grandchildren, Desireé, Braden, Morgan, Israel and Aidan.
She was predeceased by eight brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rudy Halstead, Jr. and the Rev. Rudy Halstead, III officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Danielsville, GA.
The family is at the home.
