Hi Randolph, I have a lot of info on that family. Hannah is believed to be the daughter of Robert Ingram who came to America from Ireland. That is my line. Robert Ingram came to America (probably to Lancester and Chester counties, SC where there were already Ingrams living, in 1792 with his first wife (name unknown) and maybe several children, but Hannah was born in SC. His application for citizenship can be found in the Chester County, SC Records, Volume A:55; petition for citizenship dated 3 Nov 1806. This document contains his signature. I have info on most of Robert's descendants through the early 20th century. What else would you like to know about them? I have a lot on Pois Grant from other researchers I connected with while doing my Ingram research. The Grants also were in Chester Dist., SC and that's were Pois and Hannah married. The Ingrams moved to the Talbot Co., GA area sometime during the 1830s and Pois and Hannah moved to Harris Co. about that time. James Grant who married Sarah was the son of James Grant, Sr. who m. Dorcus. I have lots of descendants of James and Sarah from three children, including Pois. That's all I have on the Grants. Is this your family research? I would like to know what your line is so I can add it to my files, if we're kin. Marian Durham Roberts Notify Administrator about this message?
