William Woodrow Ingram,88, of Chetopa, Kansas passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Chetopa Manor. He was born September 2, 1918, in Craig County, west of Welch, Oklahoma, to William M. and Elsie (Bryant) Ingram. He served his country from February 1942 to November 1945 during World War II. He was a metal worker for many years. He had a love for agriculture and enjoyed farming. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Chetopa. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch, with Pastor Mike Hand officiating. The body will be cremated. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Christian Church of Chetopa. Services are under the direction of Jim Thomas, Thomas Funeral Home, Welch Oklahoma. Notify Administrator about this message?
