Perhaps someone can connect to this WILLIAM W. INGRAM and know more information on his parents ? We suspect that William W. Ingram could be in the NEEDHAM INGRAM line but haven't enough verifications for him to connect him yet. He could also be in other NC lines of INGRAM/ INGRAHAM etc. so please post if you have more on this individual. - Tina Rogers Beller. Descendants of William W. Ingram Generation No. 1 1. WILLIAM W.1 INGRAM was born 1816 in North Carolina, and died Bet. 1853 - 1860 in Arkansas. He married MARTHA NICHOLS Bef. 1839, daughter of DAVID NICHOLS and ELIZABETH WALKER. She was born 1823 in Tennessee, and died Unknown. Notes for WILLIAM W. INGRAM: Our Beller files shows a letter written on Nov. 12, 1974 by Dorothy Henley out of the BELLER / INGRAM line in which she stated following oral history of INGRAM family : " I have no information on the INGRAMS except a few things I have picked up in conversations with people around Harrison. They were of the French Huguenots Society or French Protestants. They brought slaves and horses and cattle with them when they came to Arkansas. It was unusual to have horses also not too many people brought slaves with them to North Arkansas. " ******************************** 1840 Carroll Co. Ingram, b abt 1853. She married Christopher Columbus Eoff about 1870. He was a son of Wm. Eoff and Isabell Hawks. In the 1870 Boone Co census, you'll see Cynthia and C.C. Eoff, along with her mother and his father. Then, Mrs. Ingram, mother of this whole brood, remarries - to a Mr. Frazier. Nonetheless, when Cynthia and C.C. take off for TX in the 1870s, Mrs. Frazier goes along, leaving Mr. Frazier behind in Boone Co. Cynthia, C.C., two children, and Mrs. Frazier show up in the 1880 census for Brown Co TX. Cynthia and her mother are doing laundry. No further sightings for Cynthia or Martha Nichols Ingram Frazier. Looks likely, depending on how long they lived, that they too may have ended up in McLennan Co TX. For Cynthia and C.C.'s daughter is married there in 1891. And C.C. himself remarried there in 1888. He then moved on to Hamilton TX where he died in the early 1920s. ******************************************************* Removed from Hardin Co. TN TAX LIST is a WM.
