I am doing research for a friend and have found conflicting info regarding Daniel's wife. There is supposition his wife was Esther Hickock possibly because she died and is buried in Hambden, OH and also because of Daniel's friendship with Nathaniel Hickock. However I have found a marriage for a Daniel Ingraham to Huldah Sweatland in the Early Connecticut Marriages, fifth book, Milford, page 76, for Oct 25, 1795. In the cemetery at Hambden there is Huldah d. 8 Oct 1864, 65 Yrs thus b. ca 1799, as well as an Esther d. 19 June 1863, 81 Yrs, (possibly Daniel's wife,) as well as a Henry d. 18 July 1864 67 yrs, thus born ca 1797. Huldah and Henry's dates coincide with the marriage in 1795. Is it possible Huldah was Daniel's first wife and died and he had a daughter named after her and then married an Esther? Daniel's other known children were Henry, Nathaniel and Barton but in possible birth dates there is a large gap between Huldah at 1799 and the next known child of Nathaniel in 1815, then Barton in 1818. (I am just supposing the Huldah buried in Hambden is his daughter.)Were there other children? Anyone have any corroborating or even negative info? Any comments appreciated.
