Hi Uldine, O:n the 1870 Choctaw County Census, MS, the is a Robert C. Ingram. The following info is what I found on him:
Ingram, Robert C., 26, M, W, Farmer, real estate fvalue 450,personal value 500, born MS
Ingram Alsy?,A, 22, F, W, keeping house, Born MS
" , John L., 4, M, W,
" , Delia, C., 3, F, W
" , Anna, C., 2, F, W
There are several other Ingrams listed that no one here seems to know. Hugh Ingraham/Ingram had three brothers that we are aware of: Charles, Robert, Joseph. They were probally born in Ireland also. The other Ingrams on the 1870 Choctaw Census we cannot yet place are: Robert C. Ingram(above), John G., Ingram; Washington Ingram; James Ingram married to Josephine, James was born in North Carolina; John Ingram,born in North Carolina, married to Mary; William Ingram born in North Carolina, married to Martha; Stephen Ingram living with it appears Henry Goldsn?,;, John Ingram married to Aalean? he was born in MS;
Elizabeth Ingram, 49, born in Alabama,children: Nancy E., Virgin?/Virginia, Sarah C.,Joshua P; Coleman Ingram; James Ingram married to Clementine, he was born in MS; John Ingram born in South Carolina, married to Mary; Nancy E.born in Al., children: jJames A., William F., John F., Joseph T., Mary E.
