The will of William Lawrence of Flushing, NY, proved 1758, shows that he had a daughter Sarah married to MOSES INGRAHAM, and a daughter Jane married to SAMUEL NORRIS.
I am trying to make certain that this Moses Ingraham was the one seen in Buck's Dutchess County Tax Lists in Rumbout Precinct in 1745-46, and the one mentioned by Frank J. Doherty as being a Schenck store customer.
A Samuel Norris was Samuel Norris in Nine Partners, Crum Elbow-taxed 1753-1754 and his widow taxed in 1755. Again, I am trying to make certain that this was the Samuel Norris who married Jane Lawrence d/o William of Flushing.
Any information about the Rumbout Moses Ingraham, born ca 1710 md Sarah Lawrence.
I believe their first son was named Lawrence Ingraham, and that they also had sons William and John. William would have been mother's father, and John mother's paternal grandfather. So everything seems to fit, but I need PROOF.
