Apologies Mark, I addressed you as Ebenezer! I was rushing out this morning and just anxious to get in touch immediately. There def. is a connection, but don't know where it connects. As I said the 2 brothers William and John Inglis married the 2 sisters Catherine and Rosanna Rahilly. I am descended from John and Rosanna Rahilly. John was born in Scotland and his father William came to work on the estate to the Farrell family in Moynalty, Co. Meath. William was born in 1809 and his wife was Elizabeth Porterfield also born in Scotland. Probably repeating myself, but please let me know where your WILLIAM fits in to all this. William (1809) had brother Alexander baptised in 1799 in Keith, Banffshire, James Inglis, bown in New Mill, Keith, Banff died in 1894 married Jane Adams, another John born in New Mill, Keith 1801, Margaret Inglis baptised in 1802 Keith, Banff married a James Lyon, Annie Inglis born in New Mill, Keith died before 1894, Jannet Inglis born 1816? (Alexander Inglis worked for Lord Fife in Duff House).
