George Norman Patello came to New Zealand in either the 1800's or the early 1900's, but he changed his name to Inglis. He had 2 brothers who went to Canada at about the same time as he came to N.Z. I don't know if they kept the name Patekko or changed it to Inglis. I'm not sure if he actually came from Scotland or England, but I once remember my Uncle saying something about some lakes, or an isle. I'll ask him & get back to you. He married Alexandra Mc Kinnin and had several children, one of which was Norman, my grandfather.
