Not yet, but let's keep looking. I'm fairly certain Andrew was a son of John and Janet's as he and his wife named their children Jean (for her mother), John (for his father), Archibald (for her father), Robert and Janet (for his mother). Daughter Janet (b. 4 Mar 1825 at Allanton, chr. 23 May 1825 at Edrom) then went on to marry a William Purves 21 Jul 1843 at Edrom, where they also had a son, James, chr. 21 Jan 1844. There was also a Robert Inglis who married a Janet Cowe at Edrom in 1791 and who may have been part of this family, but I've not been able to establish a connection.
