I have a John Inglis, a scottish lowlander, in Nova Scotia, the father of Janet Inglis who married Peter Stewart. Their son, Alexander Stewart was my ggrandfather. he married Annie Inglis who's father was also named John Inglis, but do not think it is the John that is father to Janet, maybe his son, or a nephew. Annie was born ca 1865.
I have John Inglis, whose daughter Janet was my gggrandmother, born in 1820 in SCT.
Can you help me with these folks?
