Hello there Sue.I've been working on my own family history for some years now and it's very interesting that you mention the part surname of Dutson as this derives from the marriage of William Ingley and Diana Dutson in 1796.You may already know this?Anyhow this line of Ingleys were mainly shoemakers in Quarry Bank at least from 1796 to the early twentieth century and there was a William Dutson Ingley born 1809.The Dutson was added I think to avoid confusion with an earlier brother named William as well although I don't believe he survived.Hope I'm not telling you stuff you already know but I have loads more if you might need it!
Best wishes to all other Ingleys.
Dave Ingley
