Jo,

Martin Luther Ingley was born in 1878 in Bluff Dale, Hood Co., TX. He was a son of Martin Lafayette Ingley, who was born in 1855 in Louisiana (probably Bienville Parish). His parents were Martin K. Ingley, about whom little is known, and Nancy Anders. Martin Luther Ingley had one sister, Agatha. I have just learned about Agatha so I don't have any more information about her.

Martin Luther Ingley Married Nancy Collins. I have just received this information and do not know where or when they were married. It was possibly in Hood County. They had eleven children:
Martin Lavoy Ingley, 1904
Clarence Lee Ingley, 1906
Bernice Ellen Ingley, 1907
Robert Lewis Ingley, 1909
Margaret Pauline Ingley, 1911
Francis Melvin Ingley, 1913
Jack Ingley, 1915
Coy Martin Ingley, 1918
Joe Luna Ingley, 1922
Vena Ruth Ingley, 1925
Doris Oleta Ingley, 1927

Nancy Anders, the grandmother of Martin Luther Ingley, was a daughter of Jonathan Anders and Nancy Elizabeth Taylor. After Nancy's first husband, Martin K (Kelly) Ingley, died; she married Andrew Jackson of Hood Co., TX. They had one daughter, Mary Louise Jackson, who was my great grandmother.
