CALLING ALL DESCENDENTS! I, too, am a descendent of Mary Draper and William Ingels. I live, not far, from Big Bone State Park, the site of the Indian salt making camp, and from where Mary escaped with the old dutch woman. 2005 is the 250th anniversary of the Draper's Meadow Massacre and Mary's kidnapping, and ultimately, her escape and walk back home. Big Bone is planning a series of events in honor of Mary Ingels. The biggest event is in July. The dates are not firmed up yet at this time, but will be after the first of the year. We are hoping to round up as many descendents as we can, and have a HUGE family reunion! Please respond to this email if you are interested in more information. I can be reached at rhons@seidata.com.
