Hello. In researching my paternal COBBS and COBB ancestors and kin... I found out that my maternal ancestors and kin knew the DRAPERS and INGLES of Draper's Meadow, VA and other VA communities. In New England, the DRAPERs fought the Rev. Cotton Mather on various Puritan and witch related issues and so did the Henry COBB kin of MA. Also, my Ambrose COBBS and COBB ancestors and kin also knew the DRAPERs in VA. Henry COBB of MA was the first cousin of my direct ancestor Ambrose COBBS of Kent England and VA.
This is why I am interested in any DRAPER and COBBS/COBB marriages or connections.
One of my maternal cousins is a direct descendent of Mary (DRAPER)INGLES's son Raymond INGLES. Raymond was not the child of John INGLES... but of Dragging Canoe, Cherokee Chief. Dragging Canoe came and kidnapped Raymond and raised him himself along with his wives Ollie and Leaf.
