Martha
Information from Sandy Fice (1942 census) suggests that the children arrived in Canada in 1812. Reference the United Empire Loyalists and the thought of free land grants to the Scots. The Nationality mentioned "Dutch". I have heard references to Pennsylvania Dutch from which I believed that the Ingle or Ingles family came to Pennsylvania by way of Holland or Germany following the trail of the French Huguenots after they left Scotland (probably after the burning of buildings).
Elizabeth Ingle (b1805) had a brother John (b1801). John was my great great grand-father. Their Parents would be the common connection between us. You can e-mail me direct to inglej@look.ca
