Hello Sisu,
I also am looking for info and clarification on the spelling of the England name. I have several leads right now on Inglan, Ingland, Yinglin, Yingling etc....
I have James England b: abt 1750 in PA d: 1829 in Barbour Co, WV married a Elizabeth ____?
Children: Elizabeth, James JR., Susanna, Henry, Margaret, Mary, Sarah, John, Delilah and Jemima.
I have a listing that James brother may have been Henry, but I have never been able confirm this. If I follow the Yingling surname there is John Yingling and his father, Abraham Yingling as well. Research of the name Abraham yielded some interesting facts. Abraham was born in Montgomery County, PA,. His children appear to have been born in Carroll County, MD and Pennsylvania. He owned property in Frederick County, sold the land and bought a home in Baltimore. From the will, to the probate of the will his name is spelt several different ways: Yeingling, Yingling, Ingland( his wife was listed as a Ingland)and the census record as England. Hope there is a connection here.
Kirby England.
